Heritage Classes
As a part of our mission to preserve and share the heritage of the region (for example, Norwegian heritage), Norskedalen offers a variety of classes when available and interest is shown, so you can learn or improve skills such as rosemaling, wood carving, hardanger, weaving, etc.
We also offer classes that explore history, nature and other regional interests.
Classes will be announced as they become available and confirmed.
Nisse Note: Our students and instructors are really dedicated! This rosemaling class, taught by Jean Giese, met Saturday, August 18th while almost 12 inches of rain fell, then came back on Sunday despite mudslides and closed roads!
