Norskedalen Award Luncheon

The 27th Annual Norskedalen Award Luncheon will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Radisson Center at 11 a.m.  This event honors individual(s) who have given up their time, treasure or talent to enhance Norskedalen in an exemplary manner.  This year's award honoree is Agnes Steenberg, posthumously.

There will be a reception and silent auction at 11 a.m. followed by the luncheon and program at noon.  Cost of the luncheon event is $30 with proceeds to benefit Norskedalen.

This annual event is an opportunity to celebrate all the people who have given of their time and resources to Norskedalen's preservation of nature and heritage.   It is also a fundraiser to help Norskedalen continue its mission.

This year's featured speaker, Bob Anderson, will focus on the preservation of nature and his efforts to pioneer a unique falcon/power plant program in 1988.  His fascinating story centers around efforts to release falcons to its historic haunts on Mississippi bluffs. Anderson is the recipient of several conservation awards including the Champion of Wildlife award.

Everyone is encouraged to celebrate and support Norskedalen by attending this special event.

Reservations can be made by calling Norskedalen, 608-452-3424, and cost is $30 per person.  Community and Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available at $200 and $500, respectively.
