Ice Cream Social & Chicken Q at the Skumsrud Farm 2010
Sunday, August 8th 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream social in our open-air museum setting at the Skumsrud Heritage Farm just 1/2 mile West of Coon Valley. Admission is free.

The afternoon will feature:

Culver's delicious frozen custard treats (make your own sundaes, ice cream cones and root beer floats). 

Many children's games including face painting, yard games, checkers and more

A dozen historic buildings to view and tour, many with the descendents of those who built/lived in/donated them there to answer questions and share stories.

A delicious Chicken Q beginning at 11 AM (prepared by Coon Valley Conservation Club) includes half a chicken, cole slaw, roll, and choice of chips or fresh fruit.  Tickets can be purchased at Norskedalen, in advance and on the event day.
