Educational Programs
Norskedalen is a 400-acre nature and heritage center located near Coon Valley, Wisconsin. We are an outdoor classroom, a living cultural history museum and an exciting resource of programs for you and your students to enjoy.
Our Education Coordinator will work with you to help you get the most out of your school class or group program. Pre-trip packets offer complete information to help you plan and prepare for your program.
Our education programs are designed to help you meet the Wisconsin State Standards for environmental and historical education in your curriculum. Once you confirm your program, these standards will be included in your pre-trip packet.
Fees:
Programs offered at Norskedalen cost just $5 per student and $5.50 per adult with one adult free for each 10 students. Your fee includes use of the grounds and trails, use of the shelter for lunch, as well as guided tours of the Homestead or Skumsrud Heritage Farm. Large group flat rates are also available.
Our On-Site Programs Include:
Pioneer Life, Wetland Wonders, Nature Hikes, Archaeology, Art in the Outdoors, Skins & Bones, Trees Forests & You, and Environmental Education Days
