Threshing Bee Dinner

The Threshing Bee was a time when neighbors came together to help each other with the harvest.  While every family would bring food to share, it fell to the host family to insure that there was enough food for all.  The result was a feast of farm-fresh foods second to none, and friendships that span the generations.

The Threshing Bee Dinner is held at the final Music in the Valley concert, generally the second Wednesday of August.  Join us to celebrate the friendships that define Norskedalen, enjoy a wonderful dinner to the sounds of Grumpy Old Men and their big brass band!
